Advanced Clinical Research is a venture of Medford Women’s Clinic. Advanced Clinical Research draws upon the medical expertise of Daniel Tomlinson, MD, Julie King, MD, and Beverly Fuller, MD, with sub-investigators Carissa Ross, MD, Cindy Bottasso, DO, Kimberly Larson, WHCNP, RN, MSN and Karen Ingram, CNM. They, along with our operational staff Kari Hatten, CCRC, Denise Cline, CRC and Alison Soderlind, CCRC bring unique insight, intelligence, and years of experience to EVERY clinical study.

WHAT IS CLINICAL RESEARCH-
CLINICAL RESEARCH is patient-centered research. Investigators gather valuable medical information through the means of a CLINICAL TRIAL. A CLINICAL TRIAL is a scientific evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational medical treatment, medication or device in patient VOLUNTEERS. They provide the means to develop new treatments that are as effective, more effective, or safer than treatments already on the market. Many currently available medical treatments have been analyzed through clinical trials, which are carefully monitored under strict government regulations. CLINICAL RESEARCH is ongoing and can allow a patient advanced treatment alternatives that can only be obtained by participating in a CLINICAL TRIAL.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN A CLINICAL TRIAL-
People participate in clinical trials for various reasons, including health, financial, and personal needs. Volunteers who participate in clinical trials help to advance medical science, which may help others in the future. While there are no guarantees that participants will benefit from the research treatment they receive, most find that the study medication relieves their conditions and like knowing they are receiving the latest medications available along with cutting-edge treatments.

Patients who successfully enroll in a study may receive compensation for their participation, and study-related visits and medications are provided at no cost.
