Beverly Fuller, MD, FACOG, understands the importance that being a good listener plays in forming personal connections with patients. She is committed to developing the trust, comfort, and healing power of strong doctor-patient relationships. Dr. Fuller graduated in 1984 with a BS in biochemistry from Iowa State University, where she was honored as department valedictorian. She earned her MD at the Vanderbilt Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1992, Dr. Fuller completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
You’ll seldom find Dr. Fuller in a rush, and “quickie” visits are rare in her practice. Dr. Fuller appreciates her patients’ individual complexities and recognizes that it takes time to fully diagnosis, treat, and advise them. Her thoroughness and ability to really listen, along with a high level of training, enable Dr. Fuller to unravel and successfully treat complicated medical cases, some of which have left other medical providers scratching their heads. Her areas of special interest include evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears, treating postmenopausal prolapse issues, screening for and treating female malignancies, and finding solutions for heavy and/or painful menstrual cycles. Valued by her peers as a skilled surgeon, Dr. Fuller opts for a conservative approach whenever possible.
In her spare time, Dr. Fuller tends to her family and numerous pets. A long-time gardening enthusiastic, she finds joy in growing orchids and takes great pride in caring for these delicate flowers.
