Julie King, MD, FACOG, joined the MWC in the fall of 2002 and quickly gained the respect of her peers and the community. Dr. King received her BA degree from Walla Walla College and her MD degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. Dr. King returned to the Northwest where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU) at University Hospital, Portland, Oregon.

Dr. King offers patients warm personal care, treating women for routine and high-risk obstetrics, as well as adult and adolescent gynecology, and infertility. She heads MWC’s Fertility Program, which is a satellite of the OHSU Fertility Program. Dr. King is one of a few physicians in the Rogue Valley to perform laparoscopic hysterectomies as well as specializing in hormone balance and solutions. Her dedication, bedside manner, surgical skills, and clinical expertise make her one of our most patient-requested physicians.

In her personal life, Dr. King is an avid runner who makes her home in Medford with husband Scott, two daughters and the newest addition to their family a son named ‘Jack’. They enjoy participating in the area’s diverse indoor/outdoor activities and sharing them with family and friends.
