Kimberly Larson, WHCNP, is a certified nurse practitioner who is skilled and involved in all aspects of women’s health care, whether diagnosis or treatment. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, then moved from the sunny shores of Southern California to Colorado, where she assisted a nurse practitioner whose practice focused on women’s health care. This experience motivated Kim to work toward an MS degree in nursing, which she completed in 2002 at Vanderbilt University.

Kim enjoys staying current with the latest medical information and technology, then sharing that knowledge with patients so they can make informed decisions about their own health. She plays an active role in on the MWC’s Fertility Program team, assisting patients in finding solutions to their infertility issues. Kim is also a North American Certified Menopausal Specialist (NAMS) and specializes in treating hormonal imbalances utilizing traditional and natural therapies. Having acquired DXA certification, Kim is proficient in conducting DXA scans to measure bone density, a noninvasive and painless state-of-the art procedure that determines whether you have, or are at risk for, osteoporosis. Kim’s smiling face and down-to-earth personality are among the attributes Kim’s patients find most appealing.

When Kim is out of the office and not attending yet another medical conference, she’s indulging in the variety of outdoor activities that the Rogue Valley has to offer with her husband and two children.
